Welcome back to CeeBees Minor Hockey for the 2011/2012 season, please check the What's New page The deadline for post task for coaches stream is tomorrow. All coaches who have it completed can get it to Wendy or Frank tomorrow.
Registration balances can be paid Wednesday(Feb.1st) from 6-8pm and Friday(Feb. 3rd) 5-8pm this week in GORD'S ROOM. Any fees outstanding as of Friday night will make players ineligable to play in invitation and provincial tournaments. - - - The Eastlink CeeBees Stars were very excited to have the support and cheers of our Minor Hockey players last week and to show how much they appreciated it, the team has invited all Minor Hockey players to attend this Saturday's (February 4th) home game. Wear your jersey and get free admission when accompanied by an adult that has purchased a ticket. - - - CeeBees MHA would like to congratulate Cailey Drover for making the AAA TriPen Bantam Female Team and Regan Morris for making the AAA TriPen Midget Female Team. Way to go girls! - - - There will be a Coach Stream clinic held at Mt. Pearl Senior high starting @ 9am on Feb. 11th......any coach who has been notified by Frank that you need this clinic this will be the last chance to get certified before All Newfoundland........Please let Frank/Wendy Penney know if you will be attending this clinic.......and you must follow up the clinic with the post task.........Thanks - - - HNL has requested that all coaches be certified in Coaches Stream from the Atom - Midget division (including the girls divisions). Wendy Penney has received feedback from the HNL office with a list of coaches that need to complete this certification along with some coaches having to complete a Code Of Conduct......Frank Finlayson will be contacting the coaches individually and they will be asked to please complete the post task of the Coaches Stream and pass along to Wendy/Frank within a week. Wendy has asked HNL for an extension of the previous deadline of Dec. 15 2011 and will be sending the post tasks to Ken Chafe by Feb 6th. It is important that these post tasks be completed.......Any questions please contact Frank Finlayson........ - - - Ceebees Minor Hockey Executive would like to clarify home tournament fees. Players are not charged by minor hockey for their home tournament, any fees that are collected are at the request of your team's hosting committee (coordinators, coaches and parent volunteers). Please direct any questions or concerns to your coordinators. - - - Attention Coaches: the appeal deadline for the grading report is January 25, please submit your requests along with supporting information (Scores etc) to an executive member on or before this date. - - -
- - - Any coaches who requested travel forms for this weekend can find them in the minor hockey room after 7pm. A reminder to coaches to contact Doug Taylor, doug.taylor@eastlink.ca, when they know their teams are travelling so the schedule can be done. Players are reminded to return and sign in their house league jerseys. Also, that the CeeBees jerseys are for games only, and are not to be worn to practices. Please return any outstanding cookie and chocolate bar money as soon as possible. Our house league program will finish up this weekend and to celebrate the success each team is invited to come up to the multipurpose room after their last game for hotdogs and drinks. Ceebees Minor Hockey Association will be having a ceremony on Saturday December 16 at 2:00pm to dedicate the Minor Hockey Room in the memory of Gord Dean. Everyone is welcome to attend as the Minor Hockey Room officially becomes "Gord's Room". Cookies and cookie dough will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, December 14, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm only at the stadium. If you are unable to make this time please make arrangements with someone to pick them up for you. For anyone that had large orders please bring along some boxes or bags. - - - Congratulations to Cameron Hunt and Brody Haynes, both won a 5 lb chocolate bar. Everyone who sold any fundraising chocolate this year was entered in this prize draw. Please contact Maureen Maher or Michelle Pike to claim your prize! Congratulations to Brian Donovan from the CeeBees Minor Hockey Association and Executive for being named Assistant Coach to the AAA Tri-Pen Peewee team. Any coaches who do not have their post task done for coaches stream is asked to have it done before Dec. 15 and passed along to Wendy Penney or Frank Finlayson.
Congratulations to Brandon Harris and Josh Rodgers for making the AAA Bantam Team and to Noah Donovan for making the AAA Peewee team! CeeBees MHA is very proud of you! Reminders: Due to circumstances beyond our control the FEMALE ONLY dressing room has been moved to #5. Please respect the privacy of the individuals using this room.
The executive will be meeting with all division coaches over the next few days to discuss the start off the house league programs. We have formed some ideas and with the help off the coaching staff our house league can be a great experience for all of our kids. Coaches will be contacted by a member of the executive in the next few days. The registration sessions are now complete, if you still need to register please contact Pam Whelan as soon as possible. Children are not permitted to participate in practices until you have registered, each player must have insurance in place and this is only done once registration is complete. Please check the schedule page for the CeeBees/Matthew Thomey hockey school times. The $35.00 registration fee is due prior to your child's first session. **Chocolates are still available, please contact Maureen Maher.** All hockey pools must be passed in no later than 5:00pm on October 21, 2011. Each pool earns a $5.00 credit towards registration. Please check the What's New page for the registration fees and structure.
Attention Volunteers - All volunteers must wear proper protective equipment on the ice - All volunteers must be registered before going on the ice to assist the coaching staff- All volunteers must inform the coaches of their intention to assist during practice - Any volunteers who help out during practice (including minor hockey players) must follow
